Bestselling author S.M Muse writes, fun, action-packed adventures full of everyday magic, and darker than Mid-night foes. His characters are clever, fearless, and resilient, but in real life, S.M. is afraid of spiders, things that go bump in the night, and roughing it in the great outdoors.
Let’s face it. S.M. wouldn’t last ten minutes in one of his books.
S.M Muse is best known for his Heir of Nostalgia fantasy series, and soon to be Urban Contemporary thriller, The Summer People. Visit him at http://www.heirofnostalgia@gmail.com
There has been a lot of interest, lately, in where and if my home of Nostalgia ever even existed, so I found this map, uploaded it to my blog site, so everyone can see for themselves that Nostalgia did exist… even if you can no longer find it on any current maps, that’s because of what happened in the park, I’m sure.
If you notice, this map was current, taken from Google Maps in early January of 2010.
Below is what this same location looks like today, as of January 2012… how can I ever get back home, when I can’t even find home on the map anymore???
After wandering around lost the first couple of days I found this old map to be very useful. I’ve added a link to the original site off to the right of this page, in case you’re wanting to see it closer up. I was able to find Belvedere Castle that way, as well as a good old hiding place- In Plain Sight!!
Keeping up the search. Dad, if you’re reading this I’ll be hanging out by the East Gate everyday right around noon. Hope to see you there….
Well New York, I’m here. Now, if only I can find my dad.
I’m going to start this blog because what else do I have to lose??? That and maybe, just maybe, dad will do better than I and figure out that in this time people put everything out there for the whole world to see. Maybe he’ll see this and leave a comment, that or look me up. Dad, if you’re reading this, and I hope you do. I love you.
I don’t even know where to begin, other than at the beginning. I’ve been wandering the streets for more than six months. Man, I get hungry sometimes. People here are so mean, if I didn’t know any better I’d say I was invisible. I’m here okay, so all you ‘better-than-evers’ better pay some attention.
What a freaking mess this city is, it’s so big and crowded, with more people than I’ve ever seen in my whole life. I don’t know how I’m going to find my dad in all this.
BTW- (that’s ‘by the way dad’) Maggie helped me figure all this ‘computer’ stuff out, that and the internet. They have all kinds of what she calls ‘internet cafe’s ‘ set up for anyone to use. She’s the one who told me I needed to get myself out there, use my voice, or my fingers in this case. I think I’ll keep on posting here just in case. Talk to you all later.
